Dr Michelle Butler is a lecturer in Criminology in the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work at Queen's University Belfast. Her research interests include criminological psychology and imprisonment and related issues such as violence, identity, shame, masculinity, imprisonment, conflict, restorative justice and penal reform.
