Mary McManus

Mary McManus has worked in the Welfare Rights Advice sector in Belfast for over 20 years. In 2020, she completed Masters research at Queen's, which looked at the anti-poverty potential of Community Wealth Building, comparing Belfast City Council’s economic strategy with that of North Ayrshire and Preston. Mary is interested in social justice and alternative economics. She is actively engaged in raising awareness of and promoting Community Wealth Building as a means to build back fairer and greener post pandemic.
