Brexit and the Economy in Northern Ireland

This special event, organised by the Chief Executives’ Club at Queen’s and Queen’s Policy Engagement, will explore the latest Brexit developments and what they mean for Northern Ireland, with a particular focus on the economy.

Chaired by John Campbell, Prof David Phinnemore and Prof Katy Hayward from Queen’s will be joined by Angela McGowan, Director of CBI Northern Ireland and Ann McGregor MBE, Chief Executive of the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The panel will discuss what the future holds for the Northern Ireland economy in a post-Brexit world.

The Chief Executive’s Club at Queen’s is an executive business forum that facilitates and supports high-level networking in Northern Ireland. The Club was established in 1993 to connect, enhance and strengthen partnerships between the University and the Northern Ireland business sector.

Club membership comprises leaders from a wide range of businesses; private, public, charity and social enterprise organisations; entrepreneurs; and leaders in higher education.
